Apply to the Lab
Prospective Undergraduate Students
While working in the Relationships and Stress Research Lab, undergraduate RAs will have a wealth of opportunities to develop their clinical and research skills. RAs frequently recruit and screen study participants, run participants through study protocols, code video-recordings of couple and family interactions, assist with grant applications and manuscript preparations, manage complex databases, and assist with the development of study stimuli. Regular lab meetings will help you develop a better understanding of the family violence and PTSD research fields and empirical literature in unique areas of interest. Overall, working in the lab will help you hone necessary skills to facilitate your future success, whether it be in a work-related field or graduate school.
